Reason to Believe
South Africa is still in the growth stage of domestic tourism when compared to other first world countries and many South Africans do not travel because they cannot afford to do so or see no reason to travel.
- Children at a young age are open to learning and being exposed to new ideas and it’s important that the culture of travel is instilled in them at a young age.
- This ensures that when children mature, they will seek to visit these attractions.
- In addition, there is also a strong prospect that they will encourage their parents to visit these attractions while still living in the family home.
Our objective is to educate children about the many beautiful things to do and see in the country and to instill a culture of travel from a very young age. Many children in SA are not aware of the untold beauty and places that can be visited in the different provinces.
We want to expose them to this and open the door for them to explore these previously unknown places.

The products created by this venture are aimed at children under the age of 8 and have an educational element wherein we teach them about the different provinces in the country and the tourist attractions or activities that can be done in each specific province.
Our product range also gives an overall view of all that South Africa has to offer.
Mzansi Kids goals are:
Educating our children

Creating Jobs
Promoting the Natural heritage of South Africa for generations to come

Why the focus on tourism?
Most South Africans travel for VFR (visiting friends and relatives) and don’t visit tourist attractions, some are not aware of what attractions there are.
The more South Africans travel the country – the more we add to the GDP in the country.
The are 50+ million people in the country and only 13 million travel!
Compared with first world countries our incidence of domestic tourism in low.
The more South Africans travel the better it is for the country.
The biggest barriers are affordability, but people also say that there is “no reason to travel”, thus inspiration is needed, our aim is to do this through inspiring kids to travel.
